Kim Welch is co-founder of Farmtrue, a leading Ayurvedic company creating organic ghee, foods ,self-care, and lifestyle products. With a background in nutrition, Kim always believed that food is medicine and started to research ghee as a healing oil along with herbalism, in hopes to help heal her daughter who had become ill. Always wanting to understand the root cause, Kim began educating herself on the ancient teachings of Ayurveda and implementing the principles in her family’s life. She noticed a positive change immediately and helped to heal her daughter from an illness that had been diagnosed as “life long.” After fortuitously meeting Lynn at an Ayurvedic workshop, they connected and began to study Ayurveda formally at The California College of Ayurveda. After completion of that program, Kim and Lynn were deeply inspired and strongly pulled to share this Ancient wisdom in their own communities and beyond, using ghee as the vehicle to start the wellness conversation. Farmtrue was truly born with the hope to help others act, eat, and live with more care.
