Citrus essential oils can aid in the absorption of the necessary benefits of Vitamin C to help Vata skin to reverse the signs and symptoms of damage. During times of stress, Vata skin can also become dry and flakey. This ultra-nourishing oil helps to balance excess dryness and calm the nervous system.

Vanilla is an ancient anti-inflammatory ingredient while vetiver helps to firm and protect the skin from environmental stressors such as heat, dust, and pollution.

Our Revive line is made with bright and sunny tones of lemongrass and tulsi basil evoking an uplifting feeling for both your skin and mind. Revive is also infused with invigorating herbs that help revive the body and mind and help alleviate the heavy, damp qualities of the spring season or Kapha Dosha.

Lemon Balm is extremely calming to not only your skin but the rest of your senses helping to ease environmental stressors on your body and mind. Tulsi is antibacterial and antifungal therefore helping to prevent blackheads, ingrown hairs, and relief from skin infections and redness.

Our Refresh line is created from cooling oils and infused with Ayurvedic herbs that help soothe body and mind and alleviate the heat and intensity of a summer or pitta dosha. Farmtrue’s Refresh line is balanced for when you are feeling hot, agitated, and dry.

Lavender helps to calm the skin and mind. Blue tansy helps relieve irritated, troubled skin and reduces heat. It also has the ability to eliminate bacteria from the pores and reduce redness.

Why use ghee in your skincare?

Ghee is the most nourishing oil of all. It can absorb into all seven layers of our skin, therefore, acting as a supreme carrier oil for all of the nutrient-rich herbs that are infused into Farmtrue’s organic ayurvedic skincare products. Ghee also acts as a protective barrier for your skin while providing a truly hydrating experience. It is also easily absorbable so it doesn’t leave any oily residue behind on your skin or clothing.

Why use body butter?

Farmtrue’s Body Butters are rich in restorative herbs, and soothing oils to create a deeply moisturizing and protective cream. Our Ayurvedic Organic Body Butter will give your body a hydrating experience that will help reveal your skin’s natural youthful glow. This whipped butter is light and absorbs quickly, leaving skin feeling soft.

Why use body oil?

Soothe the body and mind at the same time with our Ayurvedic Body Oils. For best results, gently exfoliate the skin using our raw silk garshana gloves. Warm the oil if desired and massage it into the entire body. Let sit for up to 10-20 minutes before showering (the longer it sits, the deeper it hydrates!). Shower without using soap, allowing the warm water to transport the oil deeper into the tissues of the skin. After showering, pat dry, leaving some oil on the skin to continue nourishing throughout the day.
